Mesquite is a very caring community. Everyone pitches in to help neighbors and pets. One such organization is We Care for Animals
There are several pets available for immediate adoption. One of them is this beautiful girl.
Emily has been with WCFA since January and we cannot understand why she hasn't been adopted. She is an absolute doll. Emily ended up in one of our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) traps. It was obvious that she hadn't been outside very long but no one came forward to claim her. Emily is about 8-9 years with lots of loving years ahead of her. She has been vetted, given a dental and is Feline Leukemia negative. There's a saying in rescue: "When you adopt a pet from a rescue, you help save two lives … the one you bring home and the one who takes its place." Foster homes for cats and dogs are few in Mesquite. Please share. We need a loving forever home for Emily!
